Googlefidder in the Pleistocene

For those of you who truly believed that this brilliant machine could never work, I offer living proof of my grandfather's travels through space and time!

Notice the beautiful primeval foliage and vegetation and the local inhabitant (whose domicile cave appears to the right of the picture in the back).

Grandfather Googlefidder's notes talk of a very rough landing, this still being one of the first travels. He had problems with the landing mechanism. Apparently, it took quite a while for the boiler to be stoked once more, having landed in very brackish water. He speaks of living with these cave people for several days while he tried to instruct them in the uses of controlled fire and the benefits of regular bathings.
