Millennium - The Cosmic Champagne

I wanted to create a series of wallpapers for the desktop for the Millennium. This is the final concept of what I came up with. It is based on my signature that I did in 3D, several months back at the time of this writing, because of the overwhelming positive response on the design. I didn't want to use the normal numbering system because I wanted it to represent a more "Universal" idea. Thus, I selected something simple to keep track of the numbers. The two small orbs represent the number two, of course. The larger ones are the multipliers of ten. There is actual precedent for this sort of numbering system by various ancient cultures. My brother said that the golden flecks reminded him of champagne. This being appropriate, I decided to name it "The Cosmic Champagne". :)

NOTE: This new version has been put up on 01.29.00 and is of a lower resolution. That's because I wanted it posted in the Bryce Forum Gallery and they have a file size limit of 150K to keep things running smoothly.
