Underneath

After coming across some beautiful Riven™/Myst™ type of work, I was really into the whole creation of the underworld of this web site. At the time of this render, I haven't started it yet, but this is a model of what I envision it to be. The boolean "trees" took ages in antialias time. The whole picture took 2 1/2 days to render. I made all the materials myself, or modified existing ones. I don't think ever been so meticulous with any other picture to date. 02/16/99
