The Glass Bridge of Kippiplop
I had heard of the majesty and beauty of the Glass Bridge of Kippiplop, city of the spires. Spanning the Tillevian River of greenstone shale banks, it is said to have been the greatest spire construction for over hundreds of years. I decided to view this gorgeous structure for myself.
As I neared the glass bridge, ferried in a public floater, I was struck by the tall shapes that jut out of the land and point towards the golden starred sky! No longer used for it's original purpose (ground transport having been long since given up in favor of floaters), it remains standing as a symbol of pride for the whole city of Kippiplop. Decorated in it's candy-colored spirals to match the fairy-tale aura of the rest of the city, it stands magnificently over the large river, lit by a series of hidden lights and spotlights that shower the sky in a display of tremendous beauty. Over the bridge, one can easily see the large and beautiful presence of Yennil's twin sister planet - Lifoo. And just beyond the bridge is the eloquence of slender architecture presented by the twin spires - the original spires that founded the city so long ago.
What a wonderful sight set in such a beautiful sky - that of the Great Nebula
of Raal, near the center of the galaxy itself. It is easily understood, when
seeing this incredible sky before oneself, how the locals have developed the
tradition of sky-watching and exploration.

P.S. This picture is dedicated to my brother, Yasha Harari, whose birthday
it is today. I wish him the best and the happiest of days to come. Were it
not for him, I can easily say that none of my works would ever have come to
fruition. Thank you, Yasha, for everything and, too, for helping me grow this
web site and list for my artwork so I can share it with more people every
single day. :)
