The Lava Plains of Monusius Kraktorum
Third Slide
(Continued from Slide 1 and 2)
Ahhh...what a prize this slide is! See the cooling rock below us, now a thin crust in most places as the rivers of fire beneath swirl slowly around, cooling fast. It was like watching a great and noble beast writhe in trapped captivity as it nears the end! The elements of fire were losing ground to the cooling air, trapped in a great arena that was our valley beneath as we watched on in spectacle like the great senators of Rome and their mighty gladiators! See how it takes deeper shape, more defined and sculpted is it's face now. And also great steam clouds that condense just above it, sizzling the humidity out of the winds, but just enough to ensure it's sight before our eyes. Yes, yes...I was observing it's last struggle in this tumultuous and titanic grappling of forces.
Onwards to the next slide....
