The View from Loch Narr
Time has no meaning in Loch Narr, which is exactly where I remained on vacation for several months. Set deep in the moors of Noorland, this beautiful and gargantuan body of water is surrounded by the high cliffs which frame the lovely view. However, it is not quite an enclosed lake because it actually is fed in through a narrow passageway to the Furbrelian sea. This provides it with a variety of sea life which seems to thrive in these deep, dark, and cold waters. This remote post sits on the very outer edge of the loch, enabling visitors to relish the daily views of the tide. In fact this place is so remote that I had to, yet again, come to it by airship (there being no other mode of transports to get up this high on the cliffs). Here, an relative of mine had lent me his summer cottage, built in an old tree. The tree house is antique. Some locals say that it dates back to the days of the Burrian Empire, which would make it ancient indeed. My uncle, being a somewhat inventive person, decided to try his hand at making it into a source of energy via a windmill...which never quite took off. The result is an old iron casting turning blades which pleasingly rust into various colors due to the salt content and humidity in the air.
Overall, it was a very nice vacation, and I am glad I stayed here for a while. I took the time to work out some more travel routes for the future, and even bought the airship that you see in the picture to aid me in those new adventures.
And, though I looked and gazed for hours every day, I never quite caught a full glimpse of the Loch Narr monster, reputed to be living someplace in these deep waters.
